Announcing our 2024 Summer Community Theater Production!

Auditions for Tuck Everlasting will be held on May 5th from 10:30am-3pm and are open to students and adults ages 13 and up. Casting all roles. Non union, non paid, but LOADS of fun. If you want to participate in a show this summer that’s drama-free, heartwarming and filled with spectacularly talented and truly lovely people, we hope you’ll join us!

Performances will be held at FAPA on July 19th, 20th and 21st and July 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th. A full rehearsal schedule is forthcoming, but most rehearsals will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings beginning in May and increasing in frequency after the 4th of July. Not all actors will be called to all rehearsals.

  • All auditions will be held on FAPA’s main campus: 520 Industrial Way, Cumming GA 30040
  • Please come with a 32 bar audition cut of a musical theater song either written by the composer of the show (but not from the show) or in the style of the show. Come with an accompaniment track. There will NOT be a live accompanist present. See below for helpful tips on your accompaniment track.

Helpful tips for accompaniment tracks:
1.    Find the track on YouTube (or whichever medium you are able to obtain the track from).
2.    Screen record the cut of the song you will be singing onto a personal device (smartphone, tablet, etc). This way you won’t have to fiddle through YouTube, find the starting point in the track, and hope the internet holds up in your audition.
3.    On audition day, come with the personal device and personal bluetooth speaker already hooked up to each other, so that you can come in for the audition, slate, and be ready to sing with minimal hassle and worry! If you have any more questions regarding this aspect of the audition, please email me! Slade Searcy, Music Director slade.searcy@gmail.com
