Play Production:

I Hate Shakespeare!

Ages 13-17 (7th-12th grades)
Tuesdays 7-9pm

Think Shakespeare is boring? Think again! I Hate Shakespeare! turns the Bard’s greatest hits upside down with laugh-out-loud twists, wild parodies, and even a few zombies. This fast, funny play is perfect for anyone who loves to perform big characters, deliver punchy comedy, and make the audience howl with laughter. Join the fun and prove that Shakespeare can be anything but dull!

All students who enroll will be cast. Tuition will be billed monthly from January through April with a $65 production fee due March 1st. Performances will be April 24th and 25th at FAPA. Please note there is a dress rehearsal on April 18th.

Tuition: $125/month (January-April)

 

Musical Theater Production:
Freaky Friday: One Act Version

Wednesdays 7-9pm

When a mother and daughter magically switch bodies, they’re forced to spend a day seeing life through each other’s eyes—with wild, funny, and heartfelt results! Freaky Friday is a fast-paced, modern musical filled with catchy pop-rock songs, laugh-out-loud moments, and a powerful message about understanding and family. Step into someone else’s shoes (literally!) and join us for this unforgettable show about love, chaos, and finding yourself.

All students who enroll will be cast. (Auditions will be held the second week of class.) Tuition will be billed monthly from January through May and there is a $65 production fee due March 1st. Performances will be May 15th and 16th at FAPA. Please note there is a dress rehearsal on May 9th.

Tuition: $128/month January-May

 

Musical Theater Production:
High School Musical 2 Jr

Thursdays 7-9pm

Join Troy, Gabriella, and all your East High friends as they take on summer break, new adventures, and a sizzling talent show that’s full of fun and friendship! With catchy songs, energetic dance numbers, and hilarious moments, High School Musical 2 Jr. is your chance to shine on stage, make new friends, and be part of the Wildcats crew. Don’t miss your shot to “get your head in the game” and bring the summer vibes to life!

All students who enroll will be cast. (Auditions will be held the second week of class.) Tuition will be billed monthly from January through April and there is a $65 production fee due March 1st. Performances will be May 8th and 9th at FAPA. Please note there is a dress rehearsal on May 2nd.

Technical Theater Workshop

Ages 13-17 (7th-12th grades)

This class will work to learn all of the elements that go into what it takes to make the on-stage magic happen behind the scenes. Students will work to assist in the design and execution of all of our 2025-2026 season of shows. From the sets to lights to sound to stage management, students will work weekly with our FAPA design staff and they’ll also have the opportunity to sign up to work on the Tech crew for each production throughout the year.

Tuesdays: 5:30-7pm
Tuition: $90/month

Acting Up

YES! Classes have begun, but we still have space available!

Ages 11-15 (6th-11th grades)

One of our most popular classes, Acting Up is FAPA’s specially designed curriculum for teaching all of the elements of acting on stage to students of all levels of experience. Students in this class will enjoy creative acting games, improvisation, scenes, monologues, creative writing and story-telling all geared specifically towards their age group! Perfect for students interested in giving acting a try without jumping directly into a production experience OR for those more experienced students who are interested in improving their acting technique. Parents will be invited to at least two showcases during the course of the class to experience what the kids are working on.

Mondays 6:30-7:30pm (Tuition: $84/month)
