We have two options for our teens and tweens this summer!

  • The first option is an audition-only production of Zombie Prom. Students must audition to be included in this production and it’s possible that not all students will be cast.
  • The second option is our Teen/Tween camp week where we’ll be producing a brand new Broadway Musical Revue called Raise Your Voice. All students who enroll in this camp will be cast in the show.

Teen Summer Production 2024:
Zombie Prom!

Auditions will be held May 20th from 6pm-9pm hourly at FAPA.

Zombie Prom tells the story of Jonny, a high school student who returns from a nuclear waste dump as a teenage zombie. When he tries to rekindle his relationship with his living high school sweetheart, Toffee, their love faces opposition from the school’s strict principal, Miss Delilah Strict. Meanwhile, the students and faculty of Enrico Fermi High School grapple with the idea of a zombie student attending prom. Zombie Prom is a lighthearted exploration of love, acceptance, and youth rebellion, all set to a rock and roll soundtrack reminiscent of the 1950s.

Auditions will be held May 20th. Students cast will rehearse together for two weeks in June culminating in a weekend of special performances! Rehearsals will be held from 5-9:30pm the first week (June 10-14) and then the second week we’ll meet from 5-9:30 on Monday through Thursday (June 17-20). On Friday, June 21st, the performers will come in at 1pm and perform their final dress rehearsal for our summer campers! Performances for family and the public will be held Friday, June 21st at 7pm and Saturday, June 22nd at 4:30pm and 7pm. The production fee includes everything associated with the experience including script, performance materials, a cast t-shirt and dinner on June 23rd.

Tween & Teen Summer Camp:
Raise Your Voice Revue!

Featuring songs from across Broadway, The Raise Your Voice Revue will give every student a place to shine. This thrilling mashup of musicals includes songs like “Matchmaker” from Fiddler on the Roof, “So Much Better” from Legally Blonde, “We’re All In This Together” from High School Musical, “Step In Time” from Mary Poppins, “Agony” from Into the Woods and “Right Before Your Eyes” from James and the Giant Peach. We’ll spend each day working on songs, scenes and choreography to produce a complete musical revue by the end of the week. Students will have the opportunity to audition for specific songs on Monday of camp week, but don’t worry…auditions at FAPA aren’t stressful, they’re fun! We’ll teach them everything they need to know to feel successful!

Performances of the show will be held Friday evening. The kids will perform once at 5:30pm and again at 7pm. All students will perform in both shows. Tickets will go on sale Tuesday morning of camp week.

Tuition includes five days of instruction with our Artistic Team, all materials, a FAPA Summer Camp t-shirt and a pizza dinner on Friday before the performances. Campers should pack a lunch, snack and water bottle each day.
