**If your child is a 6th grader for the 2026-2027 school year, you can choose their age group. They may like being a “bigger fish” in the younger pond or they may be ready to be in a class with older students. You know them best, so we’ll let you decide. Reach out if we can help guide you in that decision…we’re happy to help!

Musical Theater Production Class: Shrek Jr

Do you have a child who loves to perform? Let us channel that energy into a year of great learning! Students will meet weekly in a fun, energetic class where they’ll study singing, acting and dancing. They’ll finish the show by performing their own production of Shrek Jr in the spring! All who enroll will be cast.  NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Journey to the swamp for Shrek Jr., where friendship, misfits, and a whole lot of heart bring this beloved story to life! In this fun, high-energy production class, students will join Shrek, Donkey, and Princess Fiona on a hilarious adventure filled with fearless fairy tale creatures, a fire-breathing dragon, and the delightfully villainous Lord Farquaad. Along the way, performers will build confidence in acting, singing, and working together as a team while creating an exciting, story-filled performance. With lots of humor, heart, and opportunities to play bold, larger-than-life characters, this class is perfect for students ready to embrace their inner ogre, take the stage, and discover that it’s what’s on the inside that counts! 

Rehearsals: Tuesdays: 5:30-7pm beginning September 8th!
Performances: March 19th and 20th
Dress Rehearsal: March 13th 10am-2pm

TUITION AND FEES: Tuition is $130 per month (September-March). There is a $65 production fee due February 1, 2027 that covers all production materials including costumes and props, a script, and a personalized cast t-shirt for each performer.

Play Production Class: Nick Tickle, Fairy Tale Detective

Do you have a child who loves to perform? Let us channel that energy into an exciting production experience! Students will meet weekly in a fun, energetic class where they’ll study acting while working on a fun, kid-sized play! They’ll finish the semester by performing their own fully staged production. All students who enroll will be cast. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Granny can’t tell her favorite fairy tales because someone really cruel and evil is stealing all the props! Breadcrumbs, magic beans, a basket of goodies, a glass slipper – all missing! The future of fairy tales is at stake, and it’s up to the title character to set things right. With detective reasoning and his connections to the fairy tale underworld, plus some dumb luck, Nick Tickle sets out to locate the Mysterious Figure who’s been pilfering all the props! He may require some help from the audience, but Nick Tickle is out to solve his toughest case ever! There’s plenty of audience participation and lots of laughs.

Rehearsals: Wednesdays: 5:30-7pm
Performances: November 20th & 21st
Dress Rehearsal: November 14th

Musical Theater Production Class: Annie Jr

Do you have a child who loves to perform? Let us channel that energy into a year of incredible growth and creativity! Students will meet weekly in a fun, dynamic class where they’ll develop their skills in singing, acting, and dancing — and culminate the year with a fully staged production of Annie Jr.! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! All who enroll will be cast in the show.

The sun will come out… and so will some seriously talented performers! Join the spunky, irrepressible Annie as she navigates life in Miss Hannigan’s orphanage and captures the heart of the wealthy and powerful Daddy Warbucks. With iconic songs like “Hard Knock Life”, “Tomorrow,” “N.Y.C.,” and “Easy Street,” Annie Jr. is a classic musical filled with big personalities, memorable moments, and a whole lot of heart. It’s a show that will leave your audience on their feet! 

All classes meet once per week. Please choose the day/time that works best for your family as classes are not interchangeable.

Wednesdays: 4:30pm-6pm (GREEN CAST): Performances April 13th and April 17th, 2027
Wednesdays: 6pm-7:30pm (PURPLE CAST): Performances April 14th and April 17th, 2027
Thursdays: 4pm-5:30pm (PINK CAST): Performances April 15th and April 17th, 2027

Acting Up!

Acting Up is one of FAPA’s most beloved classes — and for good reason! This specially designed curriculum covers all the essential elements of stage acting for students at every experience level. Each week, your child will explore creative acting games, improvisation, scenes, monologues, creative writing, and storytelling, all thoughtfully crafted for their age group. It’s a class where creativity thrives, confidence grows, and every student finds their voice! Parents are invited to at least two demonstration classes throughout the year to see firsthand what their performers have been working on.

Please note: Though we do follow Forsyth County Schools for school breaks, we WILL have class on January 4th due to the number of holidays that month.

Mondays: 4:30-5:30pm
Tuition: $88/month August-May
